Tanya and Ryan in Rochester

It was October 28th of 2006 when Ryan proposed to me (Tanya) which also happens to be his birthday. I was really excited because we had plans to go to Cobble Creek Farm to pick pumpkins which is where Ryan and I had our first date back when we first met over four years ago. After viewing the lit carved pumpkin display, Ryan wanted to sit down on the hay. Ryan took my hand and started to explain how much he loved me as he took a piece of paper out of his pocket. He had written a list of things he really wanted for his birthday. The list was about me and our future together. He then got down on one knee, read the list, and romantically proposed. It was amazing. After he proposed we took a walk around the farm and picked out our Halloween and engagement pumpkin. We then went to his family birthday party where everyone was expecting the newly engaged couple because he had told everyone before hand. We celebrated and all had a wonderful time. As if the day wasn't perfect enough..we all went downtown and met up with my friends to celebrate Ryan's birthday, Halloween, and of course our engagement. I thought it was so sweet that he made his birthday about me. Every since I've been with Ryan my smiles have been bigger and brighter! I can't wait to be his wife.
