Terri & Michael in Rochester

I guess it starts with our first date, we went hiking and stared at the stars for hours just talking. We even named a cluster of stars after a "inside joke" that we had together. Our relationship has always been about enjoying each other, and enjoying the time we spend together no matter where we are or what we are doing. Fast forward five and half years later. Mike and I took a day trip to the Seneca Lake Wineries and the Cayuga Wineries. There is a beautiful gorge that you can walk through called Watkins Glen, we packed a picnic lunch, after tasting some wines, and decided we wanted to go through the gorge. I unfortunately, had flip flops on, not ideal for the trip. We were walking through the gorge and walked down into an area where there is a beautiful view, we were just admiring the view and Mike dropped his map on the wet ground, I reached down to grab it, and he said "wait a minute, I've got it" and got down on one knee and proposed. What he said, I'm not sure, it all happened in such a blur, but it was romantic and amazing. It was PERFECT!!
On top of everything, we had no cell phone service, so we were able to enjoy the moment together for a good couple of hours before anyone else had gotten the news. I hope you enjoy my story and take it into consideration for your contest.
