Eva & Dario in Rochester

Ted and Mary Alice DeVirgilis of Venice, Florida are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Eva Marie DeVirgilis of New York City to Dario Joseph Englot of New Haven, Connecticut. Dario is the son of Stephen and Maria Englot of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania.

The future bride is a 1997 graduate of North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania and a 1999 graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She works as an independent make-up artist in Manhattan and is currently transitioning to a teaching career through the New School University.

Dario graduated in 1999 from Bishop O'Reilly High School in Kingston, Pennsylvania. In 2003 he was the top graduate of the University of Scranton College of Arts and Sciences, where he studied Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Biochemistry. He received his master's degree in Neuroscience in 2007 from Yale University, where he is currently working towards his MD and PhD degrees. He intends to pursue a career in academic Neurology.

A wedding is planned for the summer of 2009.
