Our song is "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire. We both just love that song and it perfectly fits our relationship... bouncy, fun and loving. Well, the first few lyrics of the song are "Do you remember the 21st of September" Love was changing the minds of pretenders and chasing the clouds away. Our hearts were ringing in the key that our souls were singing as we danced in the night remember, how we knew love was here to stay." Our first date was on Dave's birthday, we went golfing at Centerpointe Country Club. So, on September 21, 2006, after spending two hours waiting for our new house to be inspected, we went golfing. At the end of our outing, we approached the 18th green and Dave decided to have a chipping contest. Whoever got closest to the pin would receive a back rub. He "missed" and when I went down to get the balls, I turned around and Dave was on his knee. He professed his love and the rest is engagement history.
