Jennifer and Bradd in Rochester

Bradd and I have been together for 2 years now, we own a house together, and a few pets, and wedding talk had definitely been going on. When we met one of our first dates was at the Lilac Festival so this year we both took the day off from work, planning to spend a nice day, just the two of us at the festival. Little did I know, he had planned a day neither one of us would ever forget. When we arrived at the festival I immediately wanted to get something to eat (a girl needs to eat right?), but he wanted to take a stroll through the lilacs. Taking a stroll was not exactly Bradd's style, but I figured he knew I like that sort of thing so he was suggesting it to make me happy and to be the caring and considerate guy he always is. We walked up a fairly steep hill to a lilac bush that he said we should check out and he told me to lean in to smell it. He was standing behind me and as I leaned in he said, "close your eyes". I did just that and when he told me to open them he had the ring in front of me and asked me to marry him. As they say, the rest is history and I couldn't be more excited because he is the most wonderfully witty, gorgeous, loving, caring man I have ever met.
