Chrissy and Chris in Rochester

Our engagement story is really special and how we met is even more special! We actually met on Yahoo Personals two and half years ago. We emailed back and forth for awhile then we decided it was time to meet. We met at Spot Coffee. We spent almost four hours talking. I knew right then that he was 'the one'. We got engaged on January 9th of this year. It was a little after 10pm when I got home from my best friend's house. All I wanted to do was get ready for bed. Chris was sitting on the couch and when I turned to go up the stairs, I saw that there were rose petals leading up the stairs. I turned to him and gave a look as if to say 'what's going on'. He looked at me and said, 'I don't know. I came home and found it like this'. The rose petals lead into the bedroom. On the bed was a stuffed monkey from Build-a-Bear dressed in a tuxedo, on one knee and in it's paws was a ring box. I started walking back and forth saying 'shut up' and 'uh-uh'. He said, 'aren't you going to open the box?'. I opened the box (which was still in the monkey's paws) and threw it. I started crying and jumping up and down. Chris then grabbed the box and got down of one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said yes!!! He is truly the man of my dreams! This is one day I will never forget
