Need to lose weight (In a healthy way....& keep it off)

I have some baby weight that I have been trying to lose for the past 3 years and excerising alone is not working for me. The waist line seems to be the hardest place in the world to lose weight! Also, two of my bridesmaids who are a bit overweight would love to lose some pounds as well before the wedding. We are looking for a weight loss program that is a "healthy" and effective way to lose the pounds and keep them off!!! Any ideas????

Low carb, high protein, high fat, vegetables + one hour walking per day
Posted: 3/19/2011

This was the lifestyle changed I encountered when I moved last. It's been an amazing! I feel like I haven't had to WORK at it.

I start all my meals with vegetables, then add meat. Usually skip the carbs. Skip the juice, coffee and soda. Water.

Daily walking is a necessity. (Not even speed walking, just walking like you're going somewhere with a bit of purpose.)

Weight Watchers for SURE! - Michelle

Definitely try weight watchers. I’ve been on the program for 26 weeks now, and am very happy with the success. It gives you the leeway to eat what you want and teaches portion control.

Multiple options for weightloss

I suggest you sit down and write out what you will or won't do now. If you exercise and/or move at least 30 min a day 4+ times a week AND eat more of the mediterranean diet (low carbs, higher protein and good fiber (oats and whole grains) plus 5 fruits and veggies a day) you will make a difference. You don't have to drastically reduce your calories but you must reallocate, i.e. soup with beans and meat for lunch; dinner of lean meat with 2 kinds of veggies rather than pasta/rice and such with veggies. MaxWLX is a safe breakthrough alternative. It actually adds fiber plus turns your body into a fat burning machine w/ or without exercise and diet change. But if you do the above you WILL transform your bod(y(ies) safely. Make sure you keep up your vitamins b/c magnesium, selenium and copper are important to the body chemistry for proper weightloss. Your goal is not to lose water, muscle or quickly. That leads to heart problems and dehydration. No one wants to pass out or worse on their wedding day. 766-0926 for MaxWXL

Weight Watchers

I would recommend Weight Watchers if you have time to loose weight. Works wonders 9 months and 40lbs lighter it is the way to go!!

ABS Diet

I would strongly reccomend the ABS Diet book. It focuses on increasing your metabolism and getting rid of belly fat. Far from being a "diet", it teaches you how to eat healthy, and has a bunch of recipes and meal plans. You get cheat meals and ice cream, and eat 6 times a day! I always felt full, and they give a great workout plan as well. I wasn't trying to lose a lot of weight, but I dropped 15 pounds and a couple pant sizes in a couple of months. Best part, I've been doing it for over a year, its very healthy, and you will feel so much better!

Best weight management system since slice bread
Posted: 10/9/2008

The latest on the market is ViSalus' Trim Slim Shape (TSS). It is the best thing since slice bread. I started the TSS in March this year and I lost 10 lbs in a matter of weeks, and I wasn't even consistent with the program. The TSS tastes good and it is very versatile. I love it blended with mango, pineapple and strawberry. Unlike other products, the TSS is a complete meal that walks the talk - you are not hungry all the time it curbs your appetite and maintains your sugar levels - - you don't get the jitters, and you are not flabby after loosing the weight. You build muscle mass - look and feel good. I don't go anywhere without a packet in my purse. I love it and I am sure you will too. What have you got to loose - but a few unwanted pounds. Just try it.

South Beach Diet - Jill

I recently lost over 30 lbs on the south beach diet, it is a great way to knock the pounds off and still healthy. Simply lower your carbs to only good carbs, no bread and potatoes, you can have minimal brown rice and wheat bread. Buy the book it is totally worth it!!!
