Outdoor wedding at home

We are planning an August 2009 outdoor wedding at our home. Just wondering if anyone who has ever done this before have any advice about anything....especially if anyone knows a good caterer. thanks!!!

I just had an outdoor wedding. We used Taseful Events catering. Kevin, the owner is fantastic. He is very friendly, exetremly accomadating, his prices are reasonable, and the food was great. We rented our tent from Spatola's, and I won't recomaend them to anyone. The guys that set it up were rude, lazey, and took over four hours to set the tent up. At that, the poles were crooked, some of the sides were put on backwards so they wouldn't close, and the tent itself was dirty and full of holes.

She arranged the cake table , the dance floor, etc. My Family and I did not spend the day worrying about what the weather was going to do.Her Fee's are very affordable and the discounts she gets on vendors more than pay for her fee.

I have had a great experience with Creative Caterers in Penfield, and Cibi in Mendon. They are both on RochesterWedding.com

im doing this for my wedding in sept. It seems to be just as expensive as having it somewhere, but im happy about my choice. as for caterer, definately would recommend Zambistro in Medina, Ny. Great price and the food is amazing. GL
